2008 was a remarkable year for the Danish Smokie fans - not less than 13 concerts through the year..
Unfortunately I hadn’t the opportunity to attend more than about half of them, and for some strange reason I didn’t feel for writing any reports at all??!? Not because there wasn’t anything to write about; we definitely had a lot of fun at the concerts - and both before and after :-)
2008 was the year with the first "sit-down" concert in Denmark and it was a great experience even though it felt a bit strange...
And at the concert in Viborg, October 31st I had the GREAT pleasure of receiving Mick’s mandolin after the song “Changing All The Time” to hold on to until the break!! I actually didn’t expect him to repeat that “stunt” after the failure in Sweden earlier, where the fan, who got the mandolin, left the theatre after the concert and brought it home with her! But anyway I was very pleased and proud of the honour, so thank you Mick for trusting me :-)
