I have been listening to Smokie's music for many many years now, but it wasn't until 2002 I had the great pleasure to see and hear them live for the first time. After that I was completely sold, and I am now a big fan of them. In 2002 I went to two concerts, in 2003 it was three, so my goal for 2004 was four concerts. That was before I got to know Lise :-)

Unfortunately it wasn't so easy to find someone who were willing to travel around the country to hear the best boy band in the world, so I prepared myself to go on my own. I didn't mind going alone, since it is the music that is the most important thing, but it is much more fun to have someone to share the joy with! So I decided to try my luck on Marika's Fan Forum to see it there should be anyone out there in little Denmark who - like me - didn't have anyone to go with to Smokie concerts.

And there was! At first I got an email from Lise who also wanted to go to most of the concerts during the summer. So we decided to go on a three day tour: May 19th in Viborg, May 20th in Naestved and May 21st in Esbjerg. A couple of days later I got an email from Stine, who wanted to join us for the concert in Esbjerg. It was really great, now we were three, who could enjoy each others company. I got another reply to my post from Cathrine from Sweden, who had planned to go to Denmark on May 20th for the concert in Naestved. Unfortunately it didn't work out this time, but she is planning to come here later this year, which we are very much looking forward to :-)

Our little three day tour has had the effect, that we have become addicted to Smokie concerts, so it seems that we are going to almost all the concerts in Denmark this year. Expensive but definitely worth it!!
