When we planned our trip to Sweden in February 2005, everybody told us, that we were completely mad to go there for four concerts, and I must admit, that we almost agreed. But looking back, it must have been fate that made us go there – not only was it a fantastic trip and some great concerts and experiences that we had – but also as it turned out, that 2005 was going to be a pretty lousy Smokie-year for the Danish fans! Only 3 concerts in Denmark was all that we could get L
The last two concerts in Denmark back in August were very special, when suddenly two strangers – Dave and Chas (who did an extraordinary great job!) – showed up on stage instead of Terry. Fortunately it was only temporarily, and we are looking forward to be welcoming Terry back in Denmark in February 2006 J
Well, now 2005 is almost over and we can face a – hopefully – much better year 2006 when it comes to Smokie concerts... So far it looks pretty good, we already have tickets for four concerts, and if the TBC’s in the official calendar aren’t written in “Martin-language” (To Be Cancelled), it seems, that we are facing an ok season here in Denmark..
Once again I would like to say a big thank you to both the band and the crew for the fantastic job you do to keep all us fans happy and entertained.. See you all soon guys J
